The service was fine. The problem is with the billing. The service provided was removal of wisdom teeth. Before I had the service done they gave me an estimate of $290, and said the insurance would take care of the rest. After they performed the service they sent me a bill for $196 dollars. When I asked them about it, they said they miscalculated the amount we would have to pay. Then they said my insurance changed how much they would pay. I contacted my insurance and they said they didnt change anything and the dentist knew how much I would be paying up front. I drove 2 hours (one way) to have the service provided by a participating provider, and it cost me more than if I would have stayed local. If I wuold have known they were going to max-out the charge for the service I would not have went there and saved 8 hours of driving time.
