Angela - Bothell, WA
My children love going to Dr. Dallman's office. Everyone is friendly and kind, from the receptionists to the dentist himself. Mothers who breastfeed their toddlers may be advised to wean, to protect against cavities. I chose to disregard this advice, and time has proven my child susceptible to cavities whatever she eats. Dr. Dallman was able to work with another of my children, who at the time was 100% tube-fed, fiercely orally defensive, and had typical orange concretions built up on her teeth. They were able to sedate her and clean her teeth without traumatizing her. Sedation ("happy gas") is offered via a fruit-shaped nose mask (called a 'strawberry nose', etc) for the novelty effect and to put the child at ease. There's always a custom-decorated, individualized gift bag at the end of the visit, with a toothbrush, floss, a flosser, a sand timer, and a prize of the child's choice. Lastly, Dr. Dallman has always been able to work my children in for emergency appointments, from something jammed into the gums, to sudden toothaches. Fillings for suddenly-appearing cavities can be arranged within a few days. Try *that* with an adult's dentist? I do heartily recommend Dr. Dallman as a pediatric dentist for people in the greater East Side.
